Spring has Sprung! Podcast Shout-Out!

Happy spring, friends!

Since the onset of the beautiful spring weather, I have been spending most of my days outside with my little John Everett (who LOVES being outside). Normally, I push him around in his little tricycle while listening to a Catholic podcast. There are two that I have consistently listened two for the past month. I will link them below.

This podcast is great for any Catholic who has a desire to deepen his/her knowledge of the Catholic faith. It's also a great tool to use if you want to learn how to defend the Catholic faith and converse with anyone who may question Catholicism. There are a lot of atheists, Protestants, Baptists, non-Catholics that call in and ask questions about Catholicism/state why they don't believe in Catholicism. Listening to the conversations on this podcast is very enlightening. The host, Cy Kellet, frequently invites guests on the show (priests, Catholic Apologists, authors..etc) to discuss various topics or answer questions during their "open forum" episodes. One of the ways I discovered my second-favorite Catholic podcast is through this particular show. Trent Horn, who is a Catholic Apologist, author, speaker...is frequently a guest on Catholic Answers. I learned that he has his own podcast, which I will link below.

Trent Horn has written several books, two of which my husband and I are reading (listed below). He is also a Catholic speaker & is very well-known for his ability to respectively debate with anti-Catholics. If you have any questions about the Catholic faith and WHY Catholics believe what they do, I highly recommend this podcast. It is very insightful & addresses the latest controversy facing Catholicism today.

*Trent Horn books:

My husband and I want to make sure we are well versed on this issue so that we can teach our children the value of life, why abortion is wrong, and how to properly stand up for the unborn.

My husband and I got this  book so that we could be well versed on moral issues in today's world and teach our children how to understand the controversies and why particular issues in the secular world are morally unacceptable by the Catholic Church.

That's all I have to share today, folks! I truly hope you will find these podcasts enlightening in one way or another. Please feel free to share your favorite podcasts below! If I am not able to make another post before Easter, have a wonderful, happy, & blessed EASTER, friends!
