Let's Talk JUICE!

Ok, so I am obviously a little late on discovering the new health-trend: Celery juice! I have recently discovered the celery juice hype (a few months late apparently) circulating through the internet. Since I have been working towards healthier eating habits, I figured I'd give it a try...especially after seeing all of the health benefits, which I will list at the bottom of this post.  I went to the store, bought myself several stalks of celery; purchased a juicer; and gave it GO! Why not?


Before immersing myself in celery juice daily, I did a little research. I wanted to find out who was behind this celery trend. Who was the master-mind that brought this natural "medicine" to light. 

I discovered that a man named Anthony William(aka The Medical Mediumwas the one who started the celery-craze among you-tubers, instagramers & the rest of the digital world. I also found out that Anthony William wrote several books(all of which you can rent free at your local library):








There are two different ways that I know of in which you can make celery juice. I make my celery juice with a juicer. Even though I knew I could easily use my Kitchen Aid 
blender, I figured I’d go ahead and order a juicer, since I’ve already had experience with

one in the past and know  that I will use it to juice other fruits and vegetables in the
 future. I will put a picture of the one I have(Black and Decker) below, along with details on the various ways to make celery juice. 




I found out that Anthony William has a website called  MEDICAL MEDIUM. There is a lot of helpful information there on his beliefs on celery juice & dieting. He also has a podcast that I will link HERE

The more that I learned about this crazy "Medical Medium" guy & the benefits of drinking celery juice, the more I wanted to give this stuff a try. Anthony William also states that it is very beneficial to not only drink the celery juice everyday, but to also work towards eating more fruits and veggies, in general, on a daily basis (he promotes a diet consisting of mainly fruits and veggies, which I love). If you drink 16oz. of celery juice on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning everyday...

  1. Heal just about ANY skin condition (including auto immune diseases).
  2. Lower blood pressure.
  3. Lower bad cholesterol.
  4. Aid in weight loss.
  5. Aid in digestion.
  6. Relieve bloating.
  7. Cleanse the digestive system of toxins (**most importantly the LIVER!)          
  8. Aid in reproductive health.
  9. Aid in mental clarity/health.            
I learned all of this from his podcast. Anthony states in his podcasts how he has seen celery juice heal thousands of people --granted, the time it takes a person to see results depends on the amount of toxins in his/her liver. You can also google/you-tube testimonies for yourself to see people raving about its benefits. I did not go and rent any of his books until a little while after discovering the Medical Medium. You can get a ton of information from his podcast and website alone. It's just nice to know that you have FREE access to his books as well, so that you can get more detailed information if you want. 


Having said all of that, I am on day 4 of the celery juice cleanse.The taste isn't the best, I must say, but that doesn't bother me at all. I have no trouble ingesting something that will benefit my overall health! I will keep you all updated on my health journey with CELERY JUICE as time goes on.

  1. I did not know it could do all of that!!! I will have to try it more often lol. For people who can't stand the taste of celery (like me, haha) I find throwing an apple in when you juice it makes a big improvement in taste, plus I've heard celery and apple combined is supposed to have health benefits also. Thank you for sharing Adele!

    1. Oh I wasn’t aware tht combining both an apple and celery would also have good health benefits, but I’m not surprised, seeing as how both individually are so beneficial! Now, I did read that to acquire the benefits, listed by Anthony William, from celery juice, it’s unfortunstely best to drink it alone, with no other fruits juiced in it. I’m sure that’s fine to do until your taste buds adjust to the celery though! I love juicing apple! It tastes so good.
